ABOUT KATHY

Kathy Suttles is a veteran, mortgage professional, and community advocate running for Oklahoma House District 64.

A Wisconsin farm girl at heart, Kathy joined the United States Army to see the world and serve something greater than herself. She went on to reenlist and was trained as a Russian linguist and interrogator, where she learned to ask the hard questions, listen with intent, and uncover real solutions.

After 10 years of military service, Kathy chose to return to Lawton/Ft Sill—a community she has now called home for over 30 years. She has lived, worked, and raised her family here, and remains deeply committed to the people and future of Southwest Oklahoma.

For the past 25 years, Kathy has worked as a mortgage professional, helping guide families HOME. She has helped military families, first-time homebuyers, and working Oklahomans navigate complex systems and achieve homeownership—giving her firsthand insight into the real challenges facing her community.

Kathy believes in serving others with the same care and respect she would give her own family. She is running to bring that same approach to public service—focused on practical solutions, strong communities, and real opportunities for the people she represents.

She also shares her love of Southwest Oklahoma through her photography, capturing the beauty of the Wichita Mountains and the unique character of the Lawton/Ft Sill community—because she believes where we live matters, and it’s worth investing in.

Kathy’s campaign is centered on one simple belief: helping families build a life and a future right here at HOME.
